With just 40% of the ball throughout the game, with a meagre 440 shots as opposed to Manchester City’s 673, we didn’t deserve to win.

With such horrible coaching tactics, with only 211 passes forward, one crucial goal being denied due to an offside, and overall failing to comply with City’s discipline and passion towards the game of football, this defeat was indeed a wake-up call. a sobering evening. One that I am sure Ole is used to. Because he just doesn’t seem to learn.

It might not be Ole completely, that falls at the brunt of the game. Yes, his selection process was completely mind boggling, when he made so many weird choices this game, but the blame could fall on so many other factors. It might be the United Board, who spent so little during transfer windows, who give minimal backing to Ole, it might be some kind of internal conflict inside the team, it might be external pressure, high expectations, or, it might be just sheer stupidity.
