Whether it’s the birds building a nest with twigs galore,
Or a deep dark den from where you hear a lion’s roar,
All you have to do is walk through the front door,
To witness fun, compassion, care and much more.
It’s a place where delicious curries are stewed,
And love is showered in massive magnitude.
A site that’s equipped with a defensive roof,
To fend off problems and troubles aloof.
A place which lifts me up when I’m down,
And brings a smile replacing the bitter and unpleasant frown.
A place that tells me that I do belong,
And keeps me going, unfazed and strong.
Where walls are coated with memories than cement,
A place that shoulders the removal of my every dent,
A place where my heart feels that I can call it my very own,
It is definitely not a house, IT’S MY HOME!
