Thank you. For everything you have done, and continue to do.

For being there for me, more than I would’ve wanted you to.

For caring for me, and sticking up for me, when I couldn’t.

And talking some sense into me, correcting me, when I wouldn’t.

Thank you. For everything you have done, and continue to do.

For showing me the right way and the right path when I have had no clue.

For sympathizing with me when I’d have nobody to turn to

And bearing all the annoyance I inevitably put you through.

Thank you. For everything you have done, and continue to do.

For your loving touch and unwavering compassion too,

For teaching us with your immeasurable love and your dedication to pursue

what isn’t an obligation, but rather, a passion for you.

Thank you. For everything you have done, and continue to do.

For showing me how to conduct myself in public, how to follow through.

For teaching me how to be honest. “Be respectful”, you’d say, “for a good human is always true.”

And for coming in everyday, imparting knowledge, making me smarter. So, thank you.

The hardest thing I can ever imagine, is to bid you adieu.

However old I am, It’s something I will always cherish, and it’s sad to say time flew.

But today, I’m your student, you my teacher and so, a very happy teacher’s day to you!
